Managing and Using Custom Fields




ActiveDEMAND has a set of standard fields and custom fields that allow you to create the correct metadata model for your contact database. There are several types of custom fields available on the platform.



Contact/Organisation Custom Fields
Brand Custom Fields
Employee Custom Fields
Deal Custom Fields
Campaign Variables


The first three field types define the schema of your ActiveDEMAND account. All three can be managed in your account settings (Fields tab), or by accessing the Field Management menu item under Administration





Contact/Organisation Custom Fields


These custom fields extend the standard Contact and Organization fields are used to define the metadata model for your contact database. These fields are available in all packages types.


Brand Custom Fields


These custom fields extend the standard account fields and are used to define the metadata model for your company. These custom fields are available in both the Small Business Marketer and Corporate Marketer package types.


Employee Custom Fields


These custom fields extend the standard contact fields as they apply to employees of your company. These fields are used to create a custom metadata model for your staff. Employee custom fields are only available in the Corporate Marketer package type.

Deal Custom Fields


These custom fields extend the standard deal fields as they apply to opportunities you create for your company. These fields are used to create a custom metadata model for your deals. Deal custom fields are only available when the Internal CRM has been activated.


Campaign Variables


Campaign variables are a unique set of tokens that can be created to abstract variable content out of a campaign. Campaign variables are only available in Corporate Marketer packages.
