Integrating Bing Ads in ActiveDEMAND



Bing is a crucial driver of business for many agencies and businesses alike. This article describes how to synchronize data between Bing Ads and ActiveDEMAND.



Sending tracking data from Bing Ads to ActiveDEMAND



If you want tracking data from what campaign, ad group, and keyword drove a user to your website, you can use a tracking template to send that data to ActiveDEMAND. This is the same step you'll need to take with Google Ads, so you may want to do both at the same time. Inside Bing, go to "Shared Library"->"Account Level Options" and add this text to your tracking template.

Next, login to ActiveDEMAND, navigate to "Administration"->"Account Settings"->"Integrations" and set your ValueTrack Parameter Labels as per below:




Getting Conversions from ActiveDEMAND back to Bing Ads



Getting conversion data from ActiveDEMAND back into Bing Ads is required if you’re using CPA based bidding or conversion optimizer and it also helps assign wins to the campaign, ad group, or keyword that drove the conversion. There are several ways of making this connection:



Fire the Bing UET tags from Google Tag Manager, detect and fire UET events from Google Tag Manager, set event as goal in Bing Ads
Fire the Bing UET tag from your website CMS, fire the event tag from the form submission confirmation script area in ActiveDEMAND, set event as conversion goal in Bing Ads
