How do I resolve Outlook Rendering Issues?

ActiveDEMAND's email editor offers considerable email styling possibilities. One has to realise that every email client does not support all of the available style elements. To make things more complicated, every version of Outlook is different in its support of style elements.



To get the best performance, here are some guidelines to follow for the best Outlook experience.



Use the templates supplied by ActiveDEMAND. As all of ActiveDEMAND templates have been thoroughly tested across a wide range of email clients, you will have the best results using an ActiveDEMAND template
Background gradients have limited support in Outlook. If you are unsure, always set a Background colour and a gradient. If gradients are not supported by the client, then there will be a fallback color that will render
Keep it simple. Various versions of Outlook do not like rounded corners, gradients, colours with transparency etc.

Research to see if your target audience uses outlook. If they are all iPhone/android/gmail using folks, get fancy!
