How do I Bulk Edit Contacts inside ActiveDEMAND?

Option 1 - Using The Bulk Edit Command

ActiveDEMAND enables users to edit contacts in bulk. Examples of bulk editing contacts include adding tags, assigning contacts to an account, deleting contacts and more. Here is how you get started:



From the Contacts menu in ActiveDEMAND select All Contacts.

Select the contacts you want to bulk edit by checking the checkbox to the left of the name.

Once you have all of the contacts selected that you want to bulk edit, click the "Bulk Edit" button from the top right corner. Here you will have the following choices:

a. Add Tag
b. Remove Tag
c. Add Industry
d. Remove Industry
e. Assign Employer
f. Delete Contacts
g. Merge Contacts
h. Set Custom Field
i. Add to list
j. Data Enrichment

Simply select the option you want to edit and complete the step accordingly.

Option 2 - Using Excel

You can export contacts (< Contacts, <All Contacts [Export Contacts]) make changes to your data export using Excel, then re-import the updated contacts.
