Adding the Salesforce Integration Package



Before starting this integration you should follow this article to authorise ActiveDEMAND with Salesforce

You will need to know if you are using the Lightning or Classic Salesforce edition

You will need to be a Salesforce and ActiveDEMAND Admin to carry out this integration


As admin, start by uninstalling any previous versions of the package:



As admin, install the ActiveDEMAND Salesforce package by clicking this link

If this does not work, use

Choose 'For Admins' and 'accept the 'ack'



Click Done




Set up the ActiveDEMAND URL



In your account, browse to your CRM-Contact Updates. Either edit your existing configuration or, if you have not created one, create a new one. Go through the process of mapping your fields. Then on the schedule screen, choose Webhook



Copy the ActiveDEMAND Package URL





Using Salesforce Lightning (If you are using Salesforce Classic click here)



In Salesforce (as administrator), click the app launcher



Select the ActiveDEMAND app




Click the configuration Tab, click edit




Past your ActiveDEMAND webhook URL that you received from ActiveDEMAND support into the edit and save



Authorise remote communications

Press setup in the top right corner:




In Quick Find/ Search box find Remote Site Settings




Press New Remote Site button






Provide values as you see on screenshot:



Use this URL : https://api.activedemand.com


Now your Lightning package is ready to work!



Using Salesforce Classic




1 In Salesforce (as administrator), click the app launcher



Select the ActiveDEMAND app




Click the configuration Tab, click edit




Paste your ActiveDEMAND webhook URL that you received from ActiveDEMAND support into the edit and save



Authorise remote communications

Press setup in the top right corner:



In Quick Find/ Search box find Remote Site Settings




Press New Remote Site button



Provide values as you see on screenshot:



Use this URL : https://api.activedemand.com



Now your Classic package is ready to work!
